Scholarships

Fosselyngen Lodge Scholarship

​Up to four $1,000.00 college scholarships per year are available to children and grandchildren of a Fosselyngen member in good standing. A member in good standing is identified as being a member of our lodge for a minimum of two years and volunteering for our lodge a minimum of ten hours during those two years. To qualify for a scholarship, applicant must have maintained a 2.5 grade point average through the last 3 years of high school or the first two consecutive years of college as a full-time student. Transcripts must be provided. We will also accept applicants with a 165 score (C+ average) in one of the four subject areas of the GED diploma. Applicant must prove acceptance or attendance at a university, college or trade school on a full-time basis for the fall semester and attach a recommendation letter from a current teacher. Applicant must acknowledge the scholarship with their presence at a meeting or written acknowledgement.

Masse Moro Youth Heritage Camp Scholarship

​Up to two $500 scholarships per year for heritage camp are available for children, grandchildren, niece or nephew of lodge members in good standing. A member in good standing is identified as a being a member of our lodge for a minimum of two years and volunteering for our lodge a minimum of ten hours during those two years. We ask the camper to provide a report to membership by either letter or presentation to group. Applications may be obtained from Janice Gregoire, our Lodge secretary, and must be returned to the secretary no later than March 1st.

​Olav Eide District 5 Book Scholarship

The 5th district is offering a $500.00 book scholarship in honor of Fosselyngen’s long time leader Olav Eide at the district as well as the International level.
